1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Lavilash Beauty Lounge website (lavilash.ca) or booking any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Booking and Appointments

All appointments at Lavilash Beauty Lounge must be booked in advance through our online booking system or by phone. Walk-ins are not accepted. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following:

• No deposit is required to book an appointment.
• Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service or the need to reschedule, at our discretion.
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who arrives under the influence of alcohol or drugs, exhibits disruptive behaviour, or violates our studio policies.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

We understand that plans change. Please review our cancellation policy:

• 24+ hours' notice: Cancellations or reschedules made at least 24 hours before your appointment are free of charge.
• Less than 24 hours' notice: A $35 cancellation fee applies.
• No-shows: Clients who do not show up without prior notice are subject to a $35 fee. Repeated no-shows may result in booking restrictions.

4. Lash Course Enrollment

The following terms apply to enrollment in our professional lash training course:

• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot: $300 for Essentials or $500 for Business.
• The remaining course balance is due in full on the first day of class.
• Deposits may be transferred to a future course date with at least 7 days' notice. Transfers made with less than 7 days' notice are subject to deposit forfeiture.
• Course materials, tool kits, and supplies included in your tier are non-refundable once distributed.
• Certification is awarded upon successful completion of the course requirements, including hands-on practice with live models.

5. Service Disclaimer

Individual results from our services, including lash extensions, brow services, lip blushing, facials, teeth whitening, and waxing, may vary based on individual factors such as natural lash health, skin type, aftercare adherence, and lifestyle. While our artists strive for the best possible outcome, we cannot guarantee specific results. All services are performed by trained professionals using high-quality, ophthalmologist-tested products. Clients with known allergies or sensitivities are responsible for informing their artist prior to service.

6. Health and Safety

Your safety is our priority. Please note:

• You must disclose any allergies, sensitivities, eye conditions, or skin conditions before your appointment.
• If you experience any adverse reaction during or after a service, please contact us immediately.
• We reserve the right to discontinue a service if we determine that continuing would pose a risk to your health or safety.
• Patch tests are available upon request for clients with known sensitivities to adhesives or cosmetic products.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Lavilash Beauty Lounge website — including text, images, graphics, logos, icons, and design elements — is the property of Lavilash Beauty Lounge and is protected by Canadian copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our prior written consent. Photos of our work may be shared on social media with appropriate credit to Lavilash Beauty Lounge.

8. Gift Cards

Lavilash gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Gift cards do not expire and may be used toward any service we offer. Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced. Gift cards are not transferable for resale.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lavilash Beauty Lounge and its owners, employees, and artists shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim arising from a service shall not exceed the amount you paid for that specific service. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under Canadian law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lavilash Beauty Lounge, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms of Service or your use of our services.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Manitoba.
